Hello, 📷 🚲

I am sure you’re all aware about the fact that Le tour de France is coming ! Even without being a fan of cyclisme (like me) you’re still going to enjoy watching it to try to recognize some landscapes or cities you’ve already been to ! Because yes, we can all agree on the fact that France is a pretty country and not only thanks Paris ☀. It has some nice places to offer, to discover and that’s something nice to find out with the Tour de France.

But enough with bicycles, I’m going to show you a different kind of Tour de France, the one of the famous Raymond Depardon. A french photographer who focus on the consequences of urban development after 1950′ and takes amazing pictures based on his observations. I made a selection of photos from his book “La France de Depardon”. They were taken all around France and show the contrast and similiraty that you can find there. Going from deep countryside, to montain, from sea to small city…

Hope you’ll enjoy this different kind of Tour de France (and also the official one 😉), let us know which one is your favourite, or which place in France you enjoyed the best.
